1987 Mrs. Dallas/Ft. Worth Finalist

(2021) Wow. I published the above info seven years ago. Today at sixty, I am indeed a changed woman. My creations have evolved so much there has been an explosion. When I first began as stated above, my husband and I had lost everything, our business crashed and successively we lost it, our home, our car and all we owned. I did literally have the change to re-invent myself from the ground up. I had been writing and publishing for years but I really wanted to give a go to my heart's true love of designing and crafting. Though I still write and publish, it is on a lesser scale and more and more I find myself drawn to honoring the vintage, the feminine, the Victorian era, the great Southwest where I live, my Texas roots, and the grandparents I loved through my craft-works.

Though I began with jewelry, I have slowly begun to add many new items that I love. I have always wanted a gift shop full of things that look and smell beautiful that warm the heart and lift the spirits and this is what I am now creating. I do still carry jewelry but the things I love most are ironically what my customers seem to love the most as well and that is the junk journals, soaps and potpourris. I have been making soaps and skincare products for my own use for three decades so I am happy to now offer them in my shop. The junk journals have been a path to bliss not only creating the books and pages by hand but filling them with so many inspirational treasures and keepsakes. I sprinkle them with as many vintage finds as I can and try to always include the inspiration of the Word in many. I still re-design fashions and make special jewelry pieces on occasion but I am flipped over roses and shabby chic these days.

As a writer and publisher, I have been able to bring in the women's bible study publications I create, along with blanks journals and e-books.

This shop and site are my true pleasure to serve which would not be possible without my strong faith in the Lord who did indeed lift me up from the mire and place me upon a rock and giving me the feet of a hind. May God bless. Thank you for joining me on this journey.

and let her own works praise her in the gates."
